I need to show the culture of Chicago in an art piece, so I decided to go the rose route. D Rose is a Chicago legend, but the proverbial “rose from concrete” is a heavy story that rings true to the streets of Chicago. There are many roses that bloomed from concrete in Chicago, & they’ve all grown their fair share of thorns in order to survive🌹✨ here at s1kn1ss s1rv1vor we take the survivor culture seriously, as this is no gimmick for a niche. This is real life with real stories, & real survivors living to tell their tale. This is to them all, in hopes that they can feel free to express their survivor spirit uniquely‼️
